...and have replaced them both with a 24hr AC/DC station (do you ever really need more than 10 min. of AC/DC anyway?)
I've had XM for a while, but mostly use it for news/talk/sports radio. Fungus was the only music channel I ever listened to much at all, and it was a pretty damn fine station.

xmu and fred are all i ever listen to

when you're in my car =P
also, the fungus channel isn't very good. you have to admit that... i dont know about the sirius punk channel, but it seems like everytime i flip past 53 they are playing psychobilly.
-
I liked fungus. Like i said i never listened that much but i always got a kick out of turning on the radio and hearing the misfits, black flag the uk subs and stuff like that. they also played a lot of newer hardcore stuff i wasn't familiar with mixed in with the oldies.
never heard the sirius station.
-
i just have it at home on directv. i listen to it more than i thought i would. my wife loves it
-
I could see the Grateful Dead station, as they have tons of live stuff, solo stuff, etc. But AC/DC? I already changed my preset and am missing the punk.
-
All AC/DC? Why not just have a huge MP3 collection? Actually, that's what I think of satellite radio in general...
-
You'd think Satellite would have enough stations to include music from every format. Maybe they're going to relaunch the punk channels? I feel bad for those of you with gay XM - thankfully you'll soon be able to hear HOWARD and won't have to worry about that punk music..
-
where i live, people would be celebrating the all AC/DC channel as they are clearly the band of choise to be played loudly at all hours of the day and night.
it would be, i said, if any of them had XM Radio.

What is Howard?
-

you poor thing
-
it keeps the commute interesting.

yeah when I had XM, I really liked the Fungas show they had (before the channel) - they would also play stuff like Ministry, Joy Division, etc. when they made the fungas channel, I didn't like it as much since it seemed like they stopped playing that sort of music. then i canceled XM, heh.
-
Besides Howard and Left of Center, the punk station was my go to. I hope this is just a promotion for the new AC/DC album.

as a XM subscriber, I'm just waiting for the actual merger so I can finally get BBC Radio 1.
