If you go for the Dr. Pepper, I suggest that you increase your toilet paper inventory. ;)

I used to go for the Dr. Pepper, but tired of it.
Just give me a root beer now.

stewart's? that's probably my favourite. . .

the old dominion rootbeer works really well for floats :D
and if you grew up need troy thirsty, you must remember exit 69 for big beaver road on I-75.
-
We would go to A&W for a free root beer float every time my little league baseball team won a game. Later, it was switched to Dairy Queen. Unfortunately, the teams I was on were usually not very good.

there's one near the long-term parking lots at bwi. . .i think there's still one in the city where i grew up. there's also one in the food court at potomac mills, but it's matched up with a long john silver's, i think.
-
No, I don't remember, but that's hilarious. I left Troy when I was at the tender age of 5.

<img src="http://www.hi-fipop.com/moxie.gif" alt=" - " />
i also like the reeds ginger beer and raspberry ginger beer. both great alternatives to fountain sodas.
-
How about some decent sparkling mineral water?
-
if you should ever find yourself down there, theres an a&w at potomac mills mall

Did you go to Baylor? I seem to recall getting some D.P. in the old glass bottles at a D.P. museum in Waco.
Who says Texans have no culture?

yup. also learned to love big red and big peach in my time at baylor. although, what i wouldn't give for a good chicken fried steak.

Kosmo:
YES!! I LOVE MOXIE! I bring some back from Maine every time I go home to visit. It certainly is a required taste though...most people probably do not realize the popular use of the word to mean having spunk or energy was derived from the drink.

.. and Vernors will clear out your sinuses.

i tried it, but it came with brown gravy. . .BROWN GRAVY!!! that's sacrilege and i couldn't bear to finish it.
-
the club used to have dominion root beer on tap. man, do i miss those days.
ibc is my favorite, but i do have fond childhood memories of the a&w drive in in ludington, mi.
now that i think about it, several meals on vacation to michigan consisted entirely of ice cream. there was the house of flavors (home of the pigs dinner: a 5 or 7 scoop banana split that came in a wooden trough), the tastee freeze for soft ice cream after the international invitational cross channel rock throw, and the whippy dip after the silver lake dune rides. hmmm...wonder why i'm fat?
-
i recommend inca cola, esp if you're eating chicken from el pollo rico.
and also blue sky, which is based in new mexico. its kinda pricey though.

they also have awesome banana milkshakes. b&e's is the best post-show diner stop on the way home in virginia.. although it's a bit far from my house, it's definitely worth it
-
I'd like some Tizer please....and I suppose Irn Bru for lulu so she'll come back to the board.

do you remember farrells... they were an ice cream chain that had a pig trough dish and a 15 scoop sundae. if i remember correctly they posted your name on the wall if you finished the pig trough by yourself.
