This is a really good interview with Bob Pollard where he talks about future plans (solo, with former members of gbv and Tommy Keene) and talks about how his relationship with Kim Deal went sour. What he would do if he met Pete Townsend. And lots of other things. If you don't care, don't read it.

as in both throw a bunch of cultural references together to make their point rather than hitting you over the head with it. also they polarize fans. how do you see pt anderson as repetative? he's only made 4 films, the three i've seen aren't really all that close to each other
