The opener listed for Placebo is Ambulance. Is this by any chance a mistake and supposed to be Son Ambulance? Just wondering because I've never heard of Ambulance but do know of the Indie band Son Ambulance.

Could be, Ambulance Ltd.

I thought it was weird too, so I called the agent to clarify. I was told the opening act is Ambulance, not Ambulance LTD, which had appeared on Pollstar or some other site that I saw. We have to go by what the agent tells us, but I'm still not sure about this one.

Give me a bio somebody... of Placebo... my usual source - Pitchfork... puts them a small notch above Metallica...and I usually look well beyond one opinion.

you can hear their new album here

although i think many of us will agree it is not their best.
-
not their best, is that a polite way of saying utter shite?
-
yep, it is utter shite..... time has rendered placebo stale and complacent.
English summer rain always last for ages.......
At least when Travis are trite they have nice melodies.....
-
so are you going then?
-
I havent decided yet. Quite possibly no. I am hoping it will sell out and the decision will be taken from my hands.
I only like the first two albums and I doubt they will play anything off them, not even nancy boy, their one great song. So what is the point?
-
theirs no point...end it now,you know it makes sense, do you want a rope?

Thanks I'll take two.
You would have been better off going to cinerama tonight, or the tyde in July.
I would rather go to human league than placebo.
-
human league eh? you do know that today is the birthday of ANDREW MCCLUSKY, 44 today so put on some omd, i suggest the black sea from their final cd universal, enjoy and celebrate.
-
Well I dont have any OMD.... I have some singles back in Britain, but I never felt the need to buy one of their albums. That would have been a bit too gay.
dont you think the human league could be funny? They did right some cracking tunes.
-
yeah i was thinking of going to that one not for a laugh but for the music, i wonder what those two tarts look like now
