Title: Coldplay rollcall
Post by: pip on September 29, 2005, 03:35:00 pm
I know, but someone had to start the thread. It was only a matter of time. Who else is going? And does anyone need a lawn seat? I've got an extra.

I would go to Nissan for the Smiths.  The Replacements with all three original and living members and Slim Dunlap.  I think that's it.

The only way I'd go to Nissan again is if they resurrected Darby Crash, Ian Curtis, Joe Strummer, Dave Alexander, Johnny Thunders, Arthur Kane & Jerry Nolan, Joey, Johnny & Dee Dee Ramone, put their original bands back together and then made everyone else in the band 25 years younger. Then I'd go. And they would all have to be opening for the Who (with Keith Moon and John Entwistle of course), circa 1970.

Yup, I'd only go under those exact same circumstances.  Good call.
