Is there seating, or is it standing room only?
-
Saw Sondre at the birchmere a couple weeks ago...he had an amazing amount of energy so this show will probably be great.
-
is this sold out yet????? if it is, can anyone sell me two tickets?

I saw him at SxSW, and with a whole band, it was great. I'd never seen him before, but was expecting a more singer-songwritery, subdued show, and it was really fun.

i bought a ticket for the wrens this afternoon. not sold out as of 3:30, but they didn't indicate how ticket sales were going either way.
-
keep me updated, im gonna head down there tomorrow around 4 or so to grab a couple tickets and i dont wanna waste a trip....so is this gonna be a byob show or no? also, where exactly is red square if i coming from the front door of the doctors building?
-
thanks for the interest everyone! it's not sold out yet, but you should get your tickets soon, because it very well might sell out before the weekend.
head over to red square at georgetown university to get your tickets between 10 and 4 all this week. if you're at the front gates of the school, take the road to your right and you'll see...a big red-brick area. if you're lost, just ask someone.
you can also head to www.georgetownradio.com (http://www.georgetownradio.com) for more info!

Any word on online ticket sales? I can't get to the campus beforehand to get tickets so this is my only option if it's not sold out yet.
-
online ticket sales might be up today, but there are no guarantees about that.
don't worry though - while it might sell out at the door, i don't think it will sell out beforehand. if you come by before doors time, you should be fine!
-
just got my wrens tickets, couldnt be more excited, so is this black box theatre easy to find??? and did anyone find out if the show was byob?? i mean it is a saturday nite and being able to bring along cheap bar would be spectacular.
-
are they selling tickets online yet?
-
It's so nice to see people excited about the Wrens. I heart them.
-
hi again everyone! sorry the online ticket sales didn't work out...we're all just students and sometimes the administration hates us.
but if you want a ticket, get to walsh black box theatre (36th st. between N and Prospect) before 7:30 both days (today for the Wrens and tomorrow for Sondre Lerche).
thanks! see you all there!

Well, musically speaking, that may have been the most mediocre I've seen the Wrens play. Not bad, by any stretch, but they usually do much better. Performance-wise, it was still fun. $8 gigs in the basement of a college building are more forgiving of sloppiness than club shows. Unlike the recent Black Cat shows, there weren't any gabbers, so I could actually hear the extended low-key intro to This Boy is Exhausted. The big bonus was that they finished around 10:30, allowing me to scoot across town and score a ticket to the second D-Plan gig.
-
i thought musically it was pretty good, despite some bass fuckups....i mean those new intros to meadowlands songs were pretty damn cool.
-
Anyone remember the setlist? I was a little late. I got there right at the beginning of "Happy"...
-
Anyone see Sondre Lerche?
-
Did anyone see the Baltimore show last night? I'm wondering how that one was in comparison.
Sonick, since you are menstrating, if you went, you don't have to bother answering.

I didn't go b/c the last 2 times I've seen them, they haven't been very good at all. They were kick ass at the backstage at the black cat years ago though.
