What is the verdict?
Are they worth seeing these days?
Very tempted as I never have and it is great timing with the show on election night.
If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know.

I'm going and have never seen them.
While I'm not expecting anything near the intensity of their shows from the early 80's, I still think it'll be a good time.
I'm conflicted between Deerhunter/Times New Viking and watching the election results at home later that night.

Don't expect too much from HR. The rest of the band is good. Sing along and have a great time. Both times I saw them they played "I and I Survive" and the audience loved it.

HR will probably phone it in. For those that attend I hope he doesn't. I'll be home watching election returns.

I take your opinion seriously after you convinced me to go see Jamie Lidell at Austin City Limits Festival, he was great.

Yes, but did they play "Pay to Cum"?

I saw them last time they played here and thought they were great. HR had a different singing style, but still sounded great. The band is awesome too. Definitely a memorable show even if you took away the music. Any chance we could get the club to put up a screen showing the election results before the band comes on? haha

The band probably will come on before the polls close.
It's an early show.
