Is anyone else loving the Falafel Shop as much as I am? Great falafel, tons of different toppings, great fries.
Although I heard a rumor that there's a fledgling boycott since the owner's dog allegedly attacked a puppy or something. Hopefully untrue.

the adams morgan list, of course! it houses loads of useless whining and rumors.

Yes, the A'dam Falafel is excellent. Didn't get the fries but I'll try them next time. I was there a few nights ago. Looks like I won't be eating jumbo slice so much anymore.

i wonder if rhett will be able to walk after this weekend with all the action he's going to get...

What do you mean by that?
I'm wondering if Celeste will be able to walk after her 24 mile training run on Sunday.

24 miles is bit excessive for a training run... 20 should be your max, cause if you can do 20, you can do 26.

forget about that...I need to schedule a trip to the falafel shop...I love MAOZ (anyone been)and this one sounds very similar

I made it at least twenty miles before any walking in 10 of my 12 marathons. However, I only made it a full non-stop 26 miles in only two of those 10. I'm convinced that getting training runs in that exceed 20 miles is crucial to going the extra 6.2.
I think the actual saying is "The first half of the run is the first 20 miles. The second half is the final 6.2." That's certainly the way it always felt for me.
