I'll look forward to reading your review. I don't get them until a week or two later, but I'll be at the in store show (acoustic?) and the Filmore show.

Cool...I saw the Queens of the Stone Age show last October at the Warfield, easily one of the top 3 shows I've ever seen. Awesome crowd...SF is a great place to see a show!
-
Honestly, I don't think I've ever heard a SUPERGRASS song before. They R suck?

VIDEO RETROSPECTIVE ON YAHOO! LAUNCH
Supergrass has made some eye-popping videos over the year. Now you can check out an array of videos spanning the bands amazing career in a video retrospective over at Yahoo! Launch. (http://launch.yahoo.com/promos/supergrass/)

Let's get ready to Rollcall!
Kosmette would like to know who she can expect to hangout with at Supergrass. Something about getting bored watching me dj. For my part I'm working on a special tribute set in honor of Mankie. Can't decide whether to put Nirvana before or after the special "Exit Clov vs Fatboy Slim" bootleg mix I'm doing.
-
I will be there!
-
Wouldn't miss this one for the world. Morrissey loses out this time (his show in Chicago this summer was VERY lackluster). Plus, Supergrass is the better value!
-
I guess I'll be there...Cartel EPs at hand of course :p
-
Let's make it 10 shows in 13 days!! Woohoo! I'm there. And losing all sense of reality in the process....

When do you think Supergrass' set will start tomorrow night?

What an absolutely phenomenal show. I think that is probably the best I've seen Supergrass...and another great 9:30 audience, I think at first the crowd seemed a little thin due to Morrissey, but the 300 or so people that showed up more than made up for the lack of attendance. Phaser was excellent too.
Here is the setlist:
Bullet
Lose It
Grace
Rush Hour Soul
Mary
Hollow Little Reign
Strange Ones
-------------------
Late in the Day (Acoustic)
Seen the Light (Acoustic)
Caught by the Fuzz (Acoustic)
-------------------
Moving
Kiss of Life
Pumping On Your Stereo
Time
Mansize Rooster
Richard III
Sun Hits the Sky
-------------------
Lenny
Sitting Up Straight

deffo the best i've seen Supergrass since the "I Should Coco tour"... maybe it was lowered expectations but the band sounded looser and was having more fun than past shows. maybe it had to do with the fact that they weren't promoting a specific album. the acoustic set was a nice and unexpected touch. i've always dug the acoustic version of "caught by the fuzz". it also seemed that the keyboard player didn't get in the way the past couple times. fab set! will post my dj set tomorrow which was a bit of a farewell to mankie...

Yeah, amazing show last night. It was my first ever Supergrass show and I think I caught a specially good one. The crowd was very much into it. I loved the acoustic mini-set with Late In The Day, Seen The Light, and Caught By The Fuzz; that was special. :)

song ID
they played it towards the latter half of the show. my friend said it was a new track off of 'supergrass is 10'. it kinda sounded like a sped-up primal scream track (the drums especially, with the DAT playing some clave-type percussion).
hope that made sense.
anyone know the name?

gracias.
i just saw the ad for that album in the city paper, with the little bubble reading "featuring new tracks 'kiss of life' and (some other track which i didn't recognize from the setlist posted above)".

Bullet is the other new track...and a bonus b-side of Wait for the Sun. Also, there is a bonus live 12-track CD that makes it worth getting the greatest hits. Last night at the show they were selling autographed copies for 16 bucks.
