Title: Eels frontman's book
Post by: jpauls20 on October 21, 2008, 01:11:00 pm
Just finished E's memoir...Really awesome... I have been into the band for almost a decade, and reading something like that makes his music even more worthwhile. ESB has always been one of my favorite albums, and this book really goes through its evolution...If you got some downtime, and what a great, quick read. Go check it out "Things the Grandchildren Should Know." He's hilarious at time too, just like his live shows. Also, his documentary about his dad the physicist (the one he screened before the Sixth and I show" is going to be on pbs tonite...

That is a very good book if you're a fan, picked it up a while back at the Sixth & I show.  I would never want to meet the man though, since he seems to have been stricken with Jessica Fletcher syndrome.
