Does anyone know of a link to a website that lists concerts in NY city? My wife is taking me up there this weekend for my birthday....30 years flies by doesn't it ;) ..... and I'd like to surprise her with a concert on Sunday night while we're up there. Thanks!

Or why not take her to a broadway show.....
You can get tickets from the tix box in the middle of times quare at half price. We got great tickets for 42nd street for about $50 a piece.
42nd street was great fun....
Hairspray was fun too but they dont have those tickets for cheap, more like $100 each.

That Sunday lineup for Central Park Summerstage looks pretty good, if you're still there Sunday afternoon.
It's free of charge, and right there in nice Central Park, so you can stroll through the park before or after. I think they are having a "canada day" and those three artists are from Canada.
We were there for the free Sonic Youth show last year.
You can get more info at www.summerstage.org (http://www.summerstage.org)

I think the Central Park gig may be the winner. We're only about 5 blocks from Central Park. It has to be Sunday because Rory is coming with us but we've arranged for a baby-sitter only for Sunday night. (The sister of a good friend for those of you who think we're pawning him off on any old stranger)

The Central Park gig should definitely win out. In fact, thats dope!!! Rufus Wainright is great live, and Daniel Lanois is good too. If you are there early enough, try to catch Sarah Slean, she is the best Canadian singer (not saying much) out there, and i think shes very talented. and shes my buddy! definitely check her out, if you see any of those acts.
Man, if i didnt have a wedding to go to, i would be there too...drat!
