If it was a so-called "early show" with the doors opening at 7pm, then why did it not end until 1130 p.m.?
And where was Chris Stein?
Yeah, I know "complain, complain, complain".
Actually, I REALLY appreciate all the great shows 930 Club has been having the past 1-2 months.

I thought they sounded really good last night, kinda suprised me. As for Chris Stein, she even said during the show that he wasnt there because i believe he just had a kid. Well not him but his wife. The other dude was just filling in for him.

My favorite part of the show was Clem Burke...what a drummer! And the "See No Evil" cover was a pleasant surprise. But it seemed like she wasn't doing the high notes too much, possibly why they cut the last song, "Heart of Glass". It was on the set list, but they bagged it.

i was thinking about going if only to see clem burke pound those drums, but with the offer of a pearl jam ticket and no chris stein, i decided to wait until another time.
i really wish that the romantics (with clem burke) would gigs other than weekend festivals in ocean city and the baltimore marathon. i saw them at the baltimore marathon recently but it lacked that feel of a rock n' roll club. and they sure do rock. maybe they'll tour with the dirtbombs

Clem was here playing drums for Nancy Sinatra, an unexpected treat.
