I can't wait
That show is going to be sick...they were the best band at HFStival by far.
-
Not me. Lostprophets sucks.
-
well that is your opinion but i really like them. Is anyone here going?
-
hahaha...
i will be working this show. i saw them with andrew wk on that MTV tour a couple of years ago, and they blew. i'm pretty sure i saw them, but i could be confusing them with another lame nu-metal band.
-
nope i'm going to see a real band at the black cat...

that's funny i thought i'd posted that, but there was a serious lacking of dot, dot, dots..............................

I'll be going to this show too.
one of few good bands at the festival. aside from the cure, modest mouse, and jay-z
-
Thirsty will be there...
-
i will be there. just caught secret machines in b'more. both bands are great
-
They are one of the rare new bands I can tolerate, I'll be at work though, so don't look for me.
(Wonders what classifies The Secret Machines as a real band as opposed to The Lost Prophets)
-
For sure.

not for me. the last thing i want to see is a bunch of welsh boys pretending to be a crappy american nu-punk-metal band. i don't care how cute they are.

I'll be there and some of you are real ignorant. Lostprophets aren't new. They've been around since the late 90s. I agree, they had one of the best sets at the hfstival. And Megs, they're not pretending to be anything.
-
Wow, late 90's. That is indeed a long shelf life for a band these days.

I'll be there. They really rocked at HFS.
-
It's funny how people make fun of the people that like old music but then also make fun of people who like new music. So, I guess they are just making fun of themselves in the process.
(Waits for Pollard's remark since he seems to be stalking all my posts) :)

The Secret Machines can actually play real music as opposed to The Lost Prophets just wailing around making lots of irritating noise.
-
it's the lostprophets...not lost prophets and they have started to annoy me...but a couple songs are tolerable.
my final staement is i have now listened to both the lostprophets and secret machines both are not worth money to go watch. but i'd go see lostprophets because then i can tease my stupid friends who enjoy their particular style of noise.
-
i worked this show, and lostprophets sounded like incubus jr without the lame dj. just awful.
