i'm really psyched for the z-trip show ... he blew the x-ecutioners away at his last 930 show, i actually felt bad that they had to follow him ... just hope it's not the same set again

I thought he said that was the last time he was doing his 7" routine. I was there in the back for that show.

Yea Edan used to live around here. I used to run into him at a lot of local rap shows before the audiences became largely white. Anyone remember State of the Union or battle of the box at metro cafe? He would always be wandering around sporting some sweaty beat up cub scouts hat, dorky glasses and a bag full of promo material...

i've got about 5 or 6 of z's cds, plus a bunch of unreleased stuff. while there are similarities, you can definitely see changes over time. i've seen him live three times (not counting every day for a month on the projekt revolution tour, when he was playing essentially the same thing), and each show was different. he's excited to be coming back to the club. should be a great show.

i dont think it will sell out until day of, but who knows. i dont think his new cd got a lot of hype and it wasnt all that compaired to his mashups, but his skills are improving and props for the production skills, and not just being a club dj.
also, i dont think edan is coming at this time.
