Just wanted to plug tomorrow's show on the backstage of the Black Cat. Earlimart is a wonderful noisy/poppy indie band from California...sounds like a trippier Built to Spill. Definitely worth $7. The new album, "Everyone Down Here," is excellent...if you don't believe me, you can always trust that 8.5 from Pitchfork...
P.S. Just sos ya know, they sound absolutely nothing like Parker and Lily.

I wouldn't describe them as noisy at all as I think they are a little more on the quiet side, but yeah, should be a good show. They are kind of jangly. Missed them the other night though in Baltimore. Wish that I could make the Black Cat show but doubt that I can make it. Go for me!

Deal.
P.S. I find the new mellow stuff to be more strummy than jangly, although the noisy stuff is maybe more jangly than noisy...
