Hey, new shows are coming out and I want to make sure I don't miss any good ones.
Anybody watch "Starved" or "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" last night?
I found Starved was very dark, and nearly unwatchable after 15 minutes, but enjoyed the end and signed up for next week.
Sunny was great - I watched it and laughed all the way through, but I've always enjoyed the fringe racial humor. Defintely watching it next week.

i wanted to watch the Starved thing last night, but i am SO bad with TV shows that, until i get TiVo, I will NEVER EVER be able to watch any show consitently that is not on Sunday night. ever.
what channel is that on, maybe they'll show the first episode again.

Arrested Development DVDs
and I watched some reality show that made me feel less pathetic about my own life. It was a bunch of NYCers meeting people from online dating services. The show documented the date and such. erm.

FX is pretty good about re-running stuff all the time. Sometimes, they're even accused of overkill.

FX's new show "Over There" is a pretty good replacement for The Shield until it comes back.Very graphic and set in Iraq. Not for the squeamish.

ROBOT CHICKEN, ROBOT CHICKEN, ROBOT CHICKEN on Adult Swin. I will not rest until all of America with 3/4s of a brain has seen this show. Funniest 15 minutes on TV right now. American Zombie, The Most One-Sided fist fights, etc....
Entourage, Six Feet Under, Stella, Rescue Me, I'm Alan Partridge... I'm glad to have given Stella a second chance the first episode was a bit of a stinker but the quality has improved and they have cool guest stars.
Would be watching those new FX shows had the Tivolite not decided to go on summer vaction. Same goes for Teachers on BBCAmerica.
Watched the first episode of Over Episode, but didn't really get into it.

you should be watching Rescue Me for fringe racial humour. Thinking about an episode two weeks ago, and the squad attending some sort of sensitivity training course, that was just too damn funny.
the job just came out on DVD. that was funny as hell from what i remember. of course, im a huge Denis Leary fan. oh and they did play hockey in last season of rescue me.. what more can you ask for!

also via Netflix

I rented the first season of "Rescue Me" via Netflix over the past couple of weeks (comes on 3 discs). Loved it and am now caught up. :) Plus, any show that includes "Ryan O'Reilly" has my attention. :D

Caught both of those comedies (Starved and Sunny...) and they were great. I thought the end of Starved was a little preachy, but Sunny cracked me up.
Have been watching Rescue Me since it started. My brother who's a fireman can't get into it, but I think it's pretty entertaining. The hallucinations of JC are getting to me a bit right now, but I'll deal with it to see where it goes.
Don't know why, but I've been getting into Animal Cops on the Animal Planet channel lately.

I'm shocked no one has mentioned this yet. The funniest thing on TV.
My sister & brother-in-law who're both cops can't get into it, but I think it's fucking grrrrrrrrrreat!
