Title: richmond new year's eve help
Post by: walkonby on December 19, 2005, 04:46:00 pm
my plans for new year's eve in richmond were shot to shite, so can anyone on the mighty forum steer me to anything exciting that might be going on down there?  i'll be doing some hard core, last minute research of my own, as well, but i need the help of my nine thirty brethren.  tanks all!

Gwar @ Canal Club is the only thing I've heard of, and I'm not advocating seeing Gwar. I think Alley Katz has DJs and a money drop or something like that.

Y101 is throwing the coolest New Year's Eve Party in Richmond. Join the Y101 crew at Mulligan's in the Fan 8PM.

Richmond's own Johnny Cash Tribute Band Black Cash will rock the tunes, the Y101 Army will hand out free Y101 loot, and we'll watch Dick Clark drop the ball from Time Square...unless he croaks before it happens.

Cash-in the New Year with Y101!

Yeah, I was not advocating either station, nor any of the events, just being informational.

Station aside, I guess a Johnny Cash tribute band sounds like the best thing of all the options given.

You have a new bi girlfriend. What the fuck are you doing looking for places to go out? If I were you, I wouldn't be leaving the bedroom.

I'm not one to agree with Rhett too often, but the man makes a really good point here.

yeah . . . it was a shock to me as well.  not that a new bi girlfriend is a bad thing, and i would take her to richmond, too.  ease it in, ease it in, miss corndog.
