I just saw An Inconvenient Truth.
"...it has been the hottest winter in Holland for centuries. But the question is: are we doing all this to the climate?
The weather forecasting fraternity are not happy about linking this directly to climate change.
"The planet has been around for billions of years - you cannot see five or six hot winters as a significant pattern in those terms" says Mr Fuchs, and Wayne Elliot from the UK Met Office will only go as far as describing the tumbling British and European records as "intriguing"."
(http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/6405107.stm)...and so on, and so on.
What a stinker! Was that a remake? The new Dawn of the Dead films sucked, too. Oh well.
It's strange, but I always kinda liked gore movies in the past. Lately they have become steaming dog rockets.

Um, dood, the media and laymen such as yourself are using things such as recent warm winters to claim evidence of global warming. Scientists are actually using more scientific evidence, such as core samples that show that we have not seem similar climate for thousands of years, which in fact is significant. There is abundant evidence. If you're going to bleat about the earth being flat^h^h^h^h not warming, at least look at the real evidence so you can refute it properly.
