Anyone going to see the talented brothers from downunder? Whats the buzz on this tour, are they playing as a duo or backed by a band? How far back are they reaching in the catalog? Split Endz, Crowded House, Solo recordings...

was going to go, but having seen Neil by himself twice in the last couple of years I could not justify the $35 ticket price

The Finns have a full band behind them, (3 others) playing old and new Finn Brothers material, but I'm certain they'll delve into the back catalog - Enz, Crowded House. Should be a great night.

I thought it was $27.50....but yes, its still expensive which is why I probably won't be there
I think they'll be playing stuff from all era's, but with a focus on their new stuff - I downloaded the new EP from itunes and its quite good
the opener Angela McLuskey is also very good - think Scottish Macy Gray

I'll be there with the missus. Should be a good show. It's been awhile since I've seen the bros. A wee bit pricey to be sure but these guys are great songwriters and worth seeing.

She reminds me more of a very tame Bette Midler.

Didn't catch the entire set, but from what I heard it was Splitastic Crowded Finn Hitz... The set ended "History Never Repeats" the first encore had "I Got You" and "I See Red". Along the way "Weather with you" and other Crowded House goodies were served up. Didn't catch the second encore but all signs pointed to more Crowded House tunage.
Pop Geek Alert, Tim Smith the bass player on this tour recorded the second Jellyfish record, released a stellar record as the Umajets, and is paying the rent with Ms Crow.
