Always a good show there. Always cool folks and goooood lookin groovey women. For some reason, I've met all my best girlfriends at 9:30 Cracker shows over the last 7 years. Crazy. And "U dont know what you're missing" with the Swedish one.
Cracker has got a new album too. Lookin forward to it.
Anybody know what time they go on?
While I'm it... any DC chicks out there wanna hook up? LOL Just kiddin. ;)

Great band, always puts on a good show, hope that it is not frat boy filled like it was when "Eurotrash Girl" was big as then you could not hear the band over the talking.
-
I agree with all of the above (including hoping the fratboys have diminished), and I'll be there Fri.
-
Cracker on friday, which I doubt will sell out, and then the Truckers on Saturday night.........looks to be a busy weekend.......doubt many frats this time around, even though they were an annoyance a few years back....

is their new album any good? the last one was weak ass and they put on a tired show. i'm leaning toward going as it's been a while and maybe they got some energy back.
-
I just learned I won tickets to this show! I do know a few friends are also going to that show as well. It just that I have other plans that night! Oh well, I can't complain!

i love the first four tracks of the new album, but i can't get past track 4. i'm not sure if it's because the rest of the songs are bad, or that they just aren't AS good as the first 4. i'm really looking forward to the show, though- as long as david lowery is in a good mood, it should be great.

Racist.

It really was a great show, and the band was full of energy throughout. The only flaw, and this was actually a little endearing rather than a big problem, was a couple of times seemed uncertain of what to play next. Dave Lowry kept putting on reading glasses to squint at a Mac laptop set up near the mic -- I'm not sure what was on it, either a song list or lyrics.

When Camper Van Bethoveen came, they used the laptops to hook up to the net and take requests on-line. Maybe the same thing.
-
Wow, if that's what they were doing, that's kinda dumb... tres mid-90s "we're online!" gimmick.
-
And did you all meet some goooood lookin' groovey women?
-
Youbebetty, I'm not looking to meet anybody, but thanks for asking. :) The grooviest women of the night were actually at Polly's before the show, anyway.
-
Did any of you catch Revival? What did you think?
-
I only caught the last few songs of their set. I thought they were good, in fact they reminded me a bit of CvB.
