speaking of used cds... anyone know if Now! has shuttered for good yet? i was there in mid april and they still had lots of stock to unload, including much of thier obscure indie stuff they have on hands for years.

Just an FYI, I went to CD Cellar in Clarendon, and found it to be nice enough. They're still working on the stock I'm sure, but it was full of plenty of cool CDs, and it didn't smell like cat piss, always a plus. And more importantly, it's not on route 7.

I picked up a 12" remix of Barbarella by the Bongos with a remix of Numbers with Wings on the B-side.
I also got the new Mission of Burma double album. Lots of really strong points, some not so strong.

Almost right across the street from Galaxy Hut on Clarendon. Pretty non-descript, but they'll get there with the ambiance.

Nice - I'd put the Bongos high on my list of bands I'd like to see reunite.

next to a pet and shoe store; it can be easy to miss.

Yeah, I thought it was in that old thrift store on Wilson, a block down from Fresh Fields (and I'm still guessing that's where it is), but I drove by and didn't see it.

Anyone been to Revolution Records lately? How is the stock doing? I think I heard they had a "bargain bin" now.
I guess the essential problem with Revolution is that they are small and don't specialize in anything - usually a recipe for pleasing no one.

It is in that thrift building...the first storefront at the east end. When you walk by you can hear music playing because they have a speaker set up outside.
