Title: Markie's Birthday
Post by: vansmack on February 06, 2003, 04:06:00 pm
As most of you know (because he's told us countless times), today is Markie's birthday. He turned 30 and is celebrating in NY. I though it would be nice if we all left him a message that he could read when he returned (READ: Newbies - now is your chance to get back for the warm reception he gave you on your first post because he can't attack back. If there are enough posts he'll have a collective retalliation and you won't take it personally).
I'll go first.
Lawd above! Happy birthday Markie, yew Maureen 'orden Andrew WK man. I 'ope yer 'avin' a Robin 'ood Bird Lime in New York. I don't miss yaaahr pogoin' Bottle an' Glass fer a second., innit.

Just remember, if you weren't 30 you wouldn't have all those fond memories of bad 80's bands. Being 30 REALLY is a bad thing.
Cheers, big ears.

Wow. What a flashback!

That visit to Mr Smiths actually happened and I got Venerable in a conversation that night with his girlfriend about a Claddagh ring and they eventually became husband and wife, so I'm taking all the credit...

was the old thread, really that great? I remember some of it, sort of. bunch of pissy people who lived to out do each other, know more than each other, put each other down, talk about what shows they went to and what music they like.

oh, wait.
