secondly, can a mod tell me if it looks like these are going to sell out? thanks.

ask the sellout question in the FAQ section... at this juncture eddie can provide the details better than we can.
-

Yeah that'll be easy to spot at this show. No one wears hoodies or white belts for that matter...

i always thought they should wear more white studed belts...oh, and tight pants. by tight i mean not baggy. not in meaning "cool"
-
i seriously cant stand the 'scene'. besides those kids cant dance at all. how someone can go into a store, try on girls pants, then buy them.. is beyond me. i swear they have to use ky to get into them, which leaves them no room to breath. ill never understand it.
rise against, with their punk-esque sound will get some creeping out of me.
i might just wear this 1980s santers shirt i found in my closet.
-
It'll be attack of the clones again like at Warped Tour. Enjoy your show :)

well back when punk still matter those were called bondage pants and were worn for a reason. whats currently being sold as bondage pants are laughable... adding straps to baggy pants just makes me snort in their general direction.

@ kosmo
i liked the feeble attempt at the circle pit... during comeback kid; and not even during rise against.
i wasnt around for black flag, circle jerks, minutemen etc...
but it seriously makes me sad the way things have changed. i couldnt jump in the pit during comeback kid without fearing getting punched in the balls.
-
Kids just look plain silly in those baggy pants they wear. I laugh on the inside on a daily basis at that. Comic relief...makes my days a little brighter.
Save the tight pants for the cool kids...an old guy like me needs a little laughter in his life.

I've seen them all.
Minutemen, once.
Circle Jerks, a lot.
Black Flag, a whole lot. More times than I could even guess.
-
but comeback kid was fun...maybe because i know most of the words...but yeah, a lot of the kids were stupid...i dont see why a circle pit would be difficult to get right...its kind of self explanitory.

Yeah. I'm only 18 so I kinda missed all of them. Same with the necros, RevCo etc... You lucky, lucky man. I did however, find a video of Black Flag live in the UK (at Bremenier or something).

As far as circle pits go.. I was happy to see the guys with the Mohawks actually get in there. A lot of shows I've been to they just kinda stand around guarding the wall; they should be the ones in there.
However, the whole "squat like I'm pooping, and flail arms like a monkey and finish with a dropkick" moshing, I cannot stand. One day I'm seriously just going to throw direct fists at people and not just ones that "oops im sorry im throwing down didnt mean to nail you in the face"
It seems as if the goal these days is to hurt people in the pit instead of embracing the music. Given I'm only 18, and I'm not claiming I know everything, but this is just how I take things.

Well you're in luck! You'll get to see RevCo next June at the club! They're touring with Ministry...go figure :)
