This is the DC Metro area my friend! People around here initiate lockdown if we get a light drizzle. I just wish I could at least get the benefit of staying home for no reason like the kids in school.

Post by: tenpercenter on February 07, 2003, 04:02:00 pm: i'm going to reply to this topic even though none of you know me, and it seems like everyone on this board seems to have know each other for ages.anyway, last night, my buddy, who as has lived in dc for a few years, told me the place shuts at the slightest instance of snow--just like someone else mentioned. i'm just getting used to the consultants world of acting like you do more work than you actually do. so i was like fuck yeah, i'm not going to work, i can get used to this.we stayed out late. i woke up at 11:00. i found 4 messages from my boss looking for me for the meeting at 10:00.[This message has been edited by tenpercenter (edited 02-07-2003).]
