-
Sigh... I'm here. I'm always here.

-
i think the hand of god would have to be tossing ginormous snow balls directly at my company before they'd shut down for weather.
in other words, i am here.
-
I am here, of course my apartment is two blocks away from my office, so dont have much of an excuse. This really is nothing though, right Guiny? Yesterday was the 25th anniversary of the blizzard of 78. Now that was a snowstorm...
-
Present. After all, someone has to keep the federal government functioning.
-

-
Ahhhh the blizzard of 78' it woulda taken weeks to get from Sanford to Saco back then. Headin' back up in March for a weekend, hopefully it wont snow then.
-
Hopefully not, but I'm sure they will still have some on the ground. I'll hopefully be up there in April.
-
After shoveling for 1 1/2 hours to get the driveway and all clean, I am in the office.
Just in time for pizza!
-
I came to work AND I got stitches this morning. I'm a trooper.

I'm at work. Luckily, as a reward for coming, they are buying everyone Chinese food for lunch.
-
i'm working from home these days, which kinda takes the fun outta snow days.
-
Well, I'm here, we rarely shut down and no free food for us (http://www.930.com/ubb/frown.gif)
-
Everyones getting free food and i have to settle for SoJo's.

This is the DC Metro area my friend! People around here initiate lockdown if we get a light drizzle. I just wish I could at least get the benefit of staying home for no reason like the kids in school.
-
i came to work today so i could use the treadmill in the basement...i could've stayed home..but i hate running in the snow, cold feet suck...oh and we got a free lunch at Logans today..yum!

i'm going to reply to this topic even though none of you know me, and it seems like everyone on this board seems to have know each other for ages.
anyway, last night, my buddy, who as has lived in dc for a few years, told me the place shuts at the slightest instance of snow--just like someone else mentioned. i'm just getting used to the consultants world of acting like you do more work than you actually do. so i was like fuck yeah, i'm not going to work, i can get used to this.
we stayed out late. i woke up at 11:00. i found 4 messages from my boss looking for me for the meeting at 10:00.
[This message has been edited by tenpercenter (edited 02-07-2003).]

-
the name now makes sense.
-
i had planned in advance to play hooky today. i went to philly for a little walk around south street and a show. the roads were perfectly clear, and nobody was on them. it was a good day.
