Baltimore's Artscape starts Friday night. Lots of free music all weekend, but the line up isn't nearly as appealing to me as in the past. Last year SCOTS put on a great show. A couple back Richard Thompson was there.
Anyway, didn't see a thread and thought people might be interested.
Oh, and the art is pretty cool too, especially the Art Cars. A lot of the vending is typical festival crap, but who cares, skip that part.

Oh, crap! I'm glad that you reminded me about that. So now I'll have to leave extra early tomorrow to get to DC plus take a different and out of the way route. Damn, I've learned to hate Artscape.

I've been in the past and seen some good acts: SCOTS, Richard Thompson, DAr Williams, Junior Brown, etc.
I thought this years lineup was weak and am skipping it.

wish i could make it for that lineup. afro celt sound system put on an amazing show at the club a couple of years back, and i remember really enjoying los amigos invisibles when they opened for soul coughing years back. thievery is hit and miss for me, but the last show at the club was great.
