Title: No tables, seats or chairs.
Post by: mankie on July 24, 2003, 02:35:00 pm
Are they any good? They seem to get a fair number of gigs at the 930 as the support act for various bands.

I prefer Closed For Repairs.  They did three nights at the Black Cat recently.

Yea I think they will break into the mainstream soon. Maybe Jaguar can send you some MP3s before they hit it big.

Because you never know what they're going to play.

You know who else pisses me off, CANCELLED.  They always seem to take over the venue when I wanted to see a band.  Are they really that good?

When I was in junior high my big sister's boyfriend was in a band called TBA (seriously).  It's good to see they are still going strong after all these years.

I've seen "Refunds Available at Place of Purchase", thats one of the better of the little known bands we've been talking about, its almost like they paid me back for going and seeing them.

And they always play with one of two other bands:  Early Show or Early Doors.  I'm guessing the latter is some sort of Jim Morrisson tribute thing.
