TIckets won't be on sale for a while apparently, according to Seth. Hopefully we will get a presale through the Pixies site. Got GREAT seats for Philly that way.

I would say that if there is an official website, that would be the one at 4AD records:
http://www.4ad.com/artists/catalogue/pixies/index.html (http://www.4ad.com/artists/catalogue/pixies/index.html)
However, the one where you will be able to get tickets in advance (and it might be the official, don't know) is
http://www.pixiesmusic.com (http://www.pixiesmusic.com)

No problem, just make sure not to miss them. Saw them in Brazil last week and they were incredible. My only question is how high the motivation will be in December when they play in DC. By that time, they will have been playing for seven months in a row.

their playing at constitution Hall which sux for shows but we will have to deal with it

Brazil? That's awesome! Yeah, I hope that they can keep everything together by the time they get here. Who else was at the Brazil show?
-
Pixies are gonna play Lolla
-
yeah but only a few dates on lollapalooza
and they might not even be on the dates that are coming to our tri-state area. so it's very possible we will have to wait till december to see the pixies

It was mainly a festival with Brazilian rock bands. Some of them were very good. I believe there were only three foreign bands, The Pixies, the Scottish Teenage Fanclub and Hell on Wheels from Sweden. You may know Teenage Fanclub, they are a very solid band with excellent live performances. As for Hell on Wheels, I didn't know them, but thought they were excellent. The website of the festival is www.curitibapopfestival.com (http://www.curitibapopfestival.com)
The Pixies will play in a couple of weeks in Barcelona at the Primavera Sound festival with PJ Harvey, Wilco, Mudhoney and The Fall among others. www.primaverasound.com (http://www.primaverasound.com)
Then they go to the Festimad in Madrid and continue with a pretty big festival tour around Europe. They should be exhausted by December.

I don't know if they'll be exhausted...back in the day, they were extreme workaholics and did some pretty intense touring too. Frank Black has always done extensive tours. I'm not overly concerned about their exhaustion since they will get some breaks here and there. Given how quickly shows have been selling out, I'm sure they will find the motivation SOMEHOW

Frank Black Solo Album Pushed Back
Mon May 17, 2004 01:29 PM ET
By Jonathan Cohen
NEW YORK (Billboard) - With the Pixies' reunion tour doing big business at the ticket counter, frontman Frank Black's next solo album seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle.
Originally pegged to arrive this spring, the double-disc "Frank Black Francis" is now in line for a late summer release via spinART. Sources tell Billboard.com certain variables are still in play that may necessitate pushing the album's release back even later in the year.
In addition, Black is not expected to play any solo shows this year, owing to the fact that the Pixies have dates booked through Dec. 6 in Washington, D.C. "Frank Black Francis" will be the follow-up to 2003's "Show Me Your Tears."

>>>> D.C. will be final date of the tour??? Wow......sometimes the final date of a tour can be as good as the first....bands will pull out all the stops knowing the end has arrived...hot damn!
-
Without a doubt! God, that would be incredible. However, I predict that they will add some more dates. There's a little part of me that wonders if they split up again after this reunion tour, it would be kind of cool to say I was at their last show ever.
