Anybody seen him in recent years, is the show on Friday worth going to?

Saw him a couple of years ago at the Black Cat w/ Mike Watt and Ron Asheton from the Stooges.  The J Mascis set was good and he played a bunch of Dinosaur Jr songs.  However, his set was most wiped out of my memory when Asheton joined Mascis and Watt to play about five Stooges songs.  Holy crap that was amazing! So anyway, he's still J Mascis, and if you're a big Dinosaur Jr fan you should have a good time.

Ben Lee is opening. I think that kid is good, but yall prolly don't. I'd say go. Unless you have a date.
