Funniest movie I've seen in years.
And he was an Asia fan, not Hanson.
-
it's not funnier than "bad santa", but it's the funniest thing i've seen this year ... beats "wedding crashers" by a country mile
-
They finally made my autobiography into a movie.
-
I think I laughed harder at Bad Santa, but more often at this one.

They've made my autobiography into several movies:
Mean Girls, The Nightmare on Elm Street, Ben-Hur, etc.

Which was better, Bad Lieutenant or Bad Santa?
-
When I saw Bad Lieutenant, there was this creepy unwashed fat guy who was laughing very loudly at the nasty/creepy parts of the movie. This went on, uncomfortably, for like a half hour.
Then someone came up behind him and yelled in his ear, "Shut the fuck up."
The audience started cheering, and the guy didn't laugh once the rest of the movie.
Sorry this doesn't answer your question, but i thought it was a good story.

'fess up Fukufuji -- You were that fat unwashed creepy guy.
-
Come on, your response was too obvious.
While there have been times in my life that I have been fat, unwashed, and creepy, I was not the guy who was laughing inappropriately at Bad Lieutenant.

My other favorite movie story was when we were seeing Gangs of New York here in DC.
This 80 year old guy was sitting in the row in front of us, and he turns around and starts cursing out the person sitting behind him, accusing them of kneeing his seat. Then later, a teenager (13?) in his row gets up to go to the bathroom. The 80 year old guy trips the teenager, who falls to the ground. The 80 year old yells at him, "AND DON'T COME BACK".

I personally feel that this was one of the worst movies that I have seen in a long time. It is somewhat funny for the first half hour but tanks after that and lasts a half hour too long. People in the theater I was in actually started walking out towards the end. If you want to see a good R rated comedy then dont waste your time with this and go see Wedding Crashers.

People were walking out because they are pussies and can't take the vulgarity.
My mom and her friend walked out after the first five minutes, deeming it "vulgar". Doesn't mean it's a bad film.
And it's beating Wedding Crashers on metacritic, so the critics seem to thing Virgin>Crashers
