-
bull930, brian walalce, charlie nakatestes, and marty666 would be a more hilarious mix.

I wouldn't wish being thrown in with those 4 on my worst enemy, much less an OK guy like TheDirector.
The first time I met him, he told me that my posts are amazing! That made me feel special... like I'm a valued contributor to our community! :) :)

Pump ya brakes there, playboy. First & foremost please refrain from ever throwing my name around the same post as Bull930. No disrespect, but that cat does whatever it is that "it" does. We are not cut from the same cloth. As for Evil Marty, it's whatever with him but that whole thing with him narcing out young party-ers didn't sit too well with me. And Mr. Walalce & Rhett are just entities unto themselves who fuckin' defy comparison.
Anywho, just leave me be & do you. Don't know you, & in general was more or less unaware of your existence until roughly 3 minutes ago.
I come to party. I don't cause trouble, I don't bother nobody. Peace & blessings to you . . . (scrolling to check your screen name) azaghal1981.

Something gloriously Psychedelic with lots of experimental guitar licks backed with very cool drum beats.
I'd be there! ;)
-
Fair enough. I was just trying to diversify such a potential show/festival lineup by including someone whose tastes seemed to differ from the above four that were mentioned. I meant no disrespect by it.

As for the original premise of this thread, I'd be up for it. :)

Sure, I'd hang with all of those folks. Even the Director. Variety is the spice of life.

I'm halfway offended. I wanted to actually meet you. I figure I'll never get to meet Bea Arthur, so you're the closest thing - you grumpy old woman. :p

i'll definitely get baked with SPARX and azaghal. i'm sure we could agree on some high-quality psychedelia. there might be some debate as to who would headline.
-
is azaghal a guy or a girl... i've been wondering this?

the 'ghal' always made me think female. *shrug* not everyone's gender is as obvious as mine i suppose. but i really have wondered...

I think Bea Arthur is playing the Birchmere, though her $75 tickets may be a little too inexpensive for you!

First initial/last name; I do need to come up with a new handle.
-
actually, it's not too bad. every time i see your handle, i think of an early t rex (when they were tyrannosaurus rex) song, "aznageel the mage".

Change Julian for Rhett, and I could see this being how something like Pants-off Dance-off was created.

Well done Smackie...
ROFL at the Pants off Dance Off... I would pay to see that.
Julian, the equation for Pants Off Dance Off would be:
You + a music video of your choice - clothes x commentary by stephanie tanner...
-
Pants-off Dance-off (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XidT5cM1Uwc) is my new addiction. Between that and youporn, I'm seeing my life changing before my eyes.
-
Isn't that that show that the meth-addicted girl from full house hosts?

Try the Home Edition (http://fuse.tv/tv/pantsoff/game/index.php?PHPSESSID=f6de41c11a74e947ad38e48ee04603d7) until you're ready for the big time.

Likewise Snailhook. Love to see great ideas being tossed around. If we could get Mr.Don Van Vliet and his ol cronies, a nice long set from the Bevis Frond and maybe throw in The Shaggs, we'd have the start of something truly special. The possibilities are endless. Would be good to see you again Jag,it's been awhile.

Under the good Dr.s supervision,of course. I still need to converse with him on the merit of the Dandy Warhols Black Album. That would be the perfect opportunity
-
man, i have no idea what it would take to get the good captain and the shaggs out of retirement for a show. i'm afraid it will never happen. now, the bevis frond is doable...i've talked to nick saloman many times and he knows he has a dc show next time he tours, which might be for terrastock 2008.
however, to satiate your psychedelic appetite, i do have eugene chadbourne & jimmy carl black (of the original mothers of invention), tony conrad (who played with john cale in the dream syndicate in the mid-'60s, pre-velvet underground), damo suzuki (can's vocalist from 1970-1973), and the amazing japanese bands suishou no fune (with bardo pond side project alasehir) and up-tight coming up in the next few months.
sweetcell, if you want a bong hit, your attendance at one of these shows in mandatory.

Oh, it's got a lot of merit. Many thanks for that disc. I rediscovered it earlier this year when I was moving.
Let me know when the gathering is and I will be happy to come "supervise" the medications.
-
Whoa Tony Conrad too? That's pretty damn exciting. And he's still putting out quality material. That recent disc he did with Charlemagne
Palestine was one of my favorite drone pieces of last year.
I've been looking forward to Damo Suzuki for a little while now.
-
yeah, tony conrad at sonic circuits. gonna be awesome!
i wish i could get charlemagne palestine to play here, that would be unreal. he played a couple of days after kohoutek in montreal last year when we played the il suoni festival and i wanted to stick around to see him.
-
Ahh yeah there it is on the Sonic Circuits site.
Very nice.

That'd be way cool. My understanding is it's hard for Nick to make it financially feasable to tour the states. I'd love to see him try to do some dates other than Terrastock.
