Spinner (http://www.spinner.com/2007/08/06/best-opening-lyrics-no-25/) has a list of the top 25 opening lyrics. I would add these gems...

DMX- Y'all gon' make me lose my mind

Foo Fighters- I thought I knew all it took to bother you

Nirvana - rape me, my friend

 Others?

That list was hot.  Liked a lot of those entries.  Specifically "Jumpin' Jack Flash" & "Mama Said Knock You Out."

 Two of my favorites . . .

 "Allow me to re-introduce myself . . ."

Jay-Z - (Interlude) Public Service Announcement

That ^^^ song still near starts riots to this day.  The party takes on another level when you throw that song on.

 "Mr. Telephone Man . . . there's something wrong with my line . . . "

If you grew up in the 80s, the last one's fairly obvious.

And the poor people want what the rich people's got
And the skinny people want what the fat people's got
And the fat people want what the skinny people's got

You can never please anybody in this world

The short people want what the tall people's got
And the tall people want what the short people's got
The little kids want what the big kid's got

My personal choice:

 "I ain't no joke/
I used to let the mic smoke/
 Now I slam when I'm done/
 Make sure it's broke/
When i'm gone no one gets on cuz I won't let/
Nobody press up and mess up the seen I set/
I like to stand in a crowd and watch the people wonder damn/
But think about it then you'll understand/
I'm just an addict addicted to music/
 Maybe it's a habit, I gotta use it/
Even if it's jazz or the quiet storm/
I hook a beat up convert it into hip-hop form/
Write a rhyme in graffitti in every show you see me in/
Deep concentration, cuz I'm no comedian/
Jokers are wild if you wanna be tamed/
 I treat you like a child then you're gonna be named . . . "

But I can't really argue with yours either.    :D

 "Time takes a cigarette"

.....if I don't stop now I'll be at this all day (That's me, not an opening line!)  ;)
