There may be an obvious answer to this question, but are there any songs that deal with spelling?
-
haha, i don't really know any off the top of my head...
but in "Soft Pyramids" by Q and not U, they spell out words in the beginning...?

That really dumb-ass and insipid banana song by Gwen Steffani.
Aretha Franklin's "Respect".
There's some song about a guy named Johnny that spells out something that I haven't fully been able to figure out due to it's heavy English and Punkish stylings. I'll have to ask that Dodgy Slapper guy what it is as I can't remember right now.
Of course, I'm not really sure that I understand your question.

Big Bird!
ABC-DEF-GHI-JKL-MNOP-QRSTUV-WXYZ
It's the most remarkable word I've ever seen
ABC-DEF-GHI-JKL-MNOP-QRSTUV-WXYZ
I wish I knew exactly what I mean
It starts out like an "A" word as anyone can see
But somewhere in the middle it gets awful "QR" to me
ABC-DEF-GHI-JKL-MNOP-QRSTUV-WXYZ
If I ever find out just what this word can mean
I'll be the smartest bird the world has ever seen!

Yeah: "M-O-N-E-Y" (originally a 1960s R&B single, Fab T-birds covered it)
