Tuesday kinda sucks too. Thankfully there's a 3-day weekend coming up though.

At one of my previous jobs, I took Monday off as a flexday, and that was great. You'd start the week a little behind on Tuesday and by the time you were caught up, it was the end of the day and you were practically already in the middle of the week! It made the work week fly by.
I don't have that option at my current job, at the moment. So I take long lunch hours on Tues and Thurs to go biking at Hains Point. Anytime I start getting depressed on a Monday (or Wednesday), I just think, well, at least I'll get a good ride in tomorrow. That helps quite a bit.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays. At least some holidays fall on the other obvious ones, Monday and Thursday. Do any holidays regularly occur on a Tues or Wed?

It's still retarded.....they don't even make it a long weekend, unless you take a days annual leave for the friday.

i fully support you in the quest to get Super Bowl Monday declared a national holiday. i've been on that boat for years - let's face it, super bowl sunday is in the same league as fourth of july and thanksgiving, definitely bigger than easter. to be fair, we should trade. i'll be happy to give up President's Day in return for get SBM off.

Super Bowl Sunday sucks the big one, probably the most boring fucking day of the year...I hate it. Why the hell should we have to suffer through it for a second day?

that makes no sense. . you're blaming washington and lincoln for you not working at a place that will give you the friday after thanksgiving off? boo-friggin-hoo.
as for the super bowl. . why not just move it to saturday. . .i feel much more comfortable drinking my case of beer on a saturday anyway.
