Actually, she finished 13,415th out of 40,000 starters, in a time of 4 hours, 11 minutes, 38 seconds. Congratulations to my favorite board member!

Well done. Congrats on finishing.

Great job Celeste. Whether its your only one or your 50th, I think every marathon is quite an accomplishemnt.
-
Wow - that's great. Congrats!

Congrats Celeste, but why didnt you keep running when you saw Rhett at the finish line?

he's got the smoker's handicap, though...
anyway...thanks you guys...I feel happy about it, considering my goal, decided on the day before, was to try at do 4:40 or better...

Congrats to her! Did she like the marathon? I think i might do that one next year. I love chicago, and i love running..so it could be good times. I'm running Richmond next month.

Malo, you should do it...it's flat and generally cool weather...
The people in the neighborhoods are great...we had gay guys dancing to "Get Off" in Boystown and Polish girls in traditional dresses and a polka band in the Polish neighborhood...and lots more.
I used to live there...so I kept seeing restaurants I'd eaten at...

Rhett dances?

That's right.
I bet I was #1 in the Hipster Chain Smokers class last year.
Based on how my training runs were going, I think I would have easily shaved at least 30 minutes off my time this year. However, I haven't been able to run for the past two weeks so things aren't looking good. Oh well. There's always next year.
Congrats Celeste.

My best marathon time was in 1992 NYC Marathon, before they used the chips that allow them to calculate what your real time was.
I'll never know my true best time. :(

congratulations on the race and getting your pr -- Chicago is my favorite of the three I've done, although freinds told me this year it was getting kind of hot towards the end of the race.
