I better not tell my wife.  She'll take a whole week off work in preparation.  Why?  I don't know.  BRMC is good, but I need to hear a little "more" on their upcoming album.

It's good Myuman. Much like their first album but a little cleaner and a bit more timbre. My favorite song is Ha Ha High Babe which has stronger bass lines and is more Bluesy sounding. Most people like Stop or Heart & Soul, which are also good songs. The down side is that you can hear very distinct riffs from previous songs. If you don't let that bother you, it's good. My least favorite is And I'm Aching though still not bad. It's more acoustic sounding and just not as strong however, it's one of my friend's favorites.

Libertines at Black Cat, now BRMC at 9:30, i'm in 7th heaven....

Weird thing was, got an listserv email from both BRMC and Andrew W.K. saying basically the same thing...."we're putting our tickets on sale on the website first for the fans, so they can avoid extra charges", or something to that effect.  Coincidence?

Anyone else read the review of a recent BRMC show where Robert Turner kept jumping into the crowd and kissing girls? Sounds like they are jazzed about the new material!

The Warlocks are opening for BRMC's Irving Plaza show. Who knows if they will open in DC also... I have yet to see them (Warlocks), so I hope they do.

I checked out ordering tickets on BRMC's website. And I found that there is still a $3 "convenience" charge per ticket. Yeah, that is better than TicketMaster. But I was hoping for something more like $1 per transaction.
 Know what I mean?

The Warlocks WILL be opening for BRMC at the 9:30 club. All BRMC dates AFTER the 23rd will have Stratford 4 as support! So there ya go,2 great bands one low price,15 bucks. And don't forget the Dandy's 6 days prior, same low price. These are a few "should not miss" shows IMHO   :D

I really like Stratford 4 as well.Here's a sample of the Warlocks:                                                                                            http://punkcast.com/165/index.html (http://punkcast.com/165/index.html)

they weren't horrible, they just weren't as good as they used to be.  the teeny tiny bit of fame has gone to their heads and they're a full out gimmick band now.  plus they're jackasses, not the sweet boys they used to be.

but I'm highly biased by personal relationships, don't listen to me...

So is there *one* BRMC album that everyone should own, especially if you might see them in about four weeks?

Yea, I'd highly suggest the one that has been released.  Its much better than all the others.

Okay, I'm the idiot.  For the life of me, though, I feel like I've been hearing about them for ages.  My bad.  Guess that makes for easy shopping and little controversy on the board.  I know, what's the best BRMC song?  [kidding!]
