a new mail box (http://www.theforce.net/latestnews/story/R2D2_Mailboxes_Confirm_Rumors_104142.asp) is coming from the u.s. postal service.
-
EXCELLENT! I heard a rumor about his a few weeks ago but hadn't seen the pictures! I did get my hands on a beat-up drink cooler from 7-11 a few years ago, but it didn't survive two of my movies, so I had to chuck it.

I'm not putting any mail in one of those, and not because it will take Obi One to get past the restraining bolt.
Because those things are going to be stolen and my mail's going to be inside...

I figured this thread would be about a Princess Leia blow-up doll....
-
Well in a manner of speaking, it is. I have to drop the mail-in order form somewhere, don't I? :D

Saw a couple of these in Chicago. They're sweet - even the one I saw sober.
There's one right across the street from Wrigley. The bolts were different, but not unmanageable....
-
They look like they should be playing music since they have a bit of a jukebox look to them. Pop in a piece of mail and out pops a song.
Dupek, why don't you start a letter writing/song thread? I'd do it myself but I'm so far behind in here that I'm just not up for it.

Have you got a bad case of the Mondays?

I was just in Chicago this weekend and missed it! I was hanging out at the Gingerman on Saturday....

you've never referred to a cop (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=five+o) as "5-0" before? would it be better if i wrote it five-o?
-

It's an impossible decision, really. They're all great!

I just saw one on M St in Georgetown. I believe it was by the Shops at Georgetown.
-
i'm disappointed that there isn't a death star stamp. i voted for darth vader.
-
For those of you in the Alexandria area, I took a jog down King St. this morning and saw one of these mailboxes at the corner of King & Pitt.
-
I voted for the storm troopers.
It's the best one and anyone who says otherwise is crazy.
-
That's what I voted for...but lets face it, a Death Star stamped would've been awesome.
