I've never paid much attention to watching for viruses on my home computer, but they're so prevalent these days, I should.  Plus, for the first time, I got one on my work computer (through RealOne Player -- odd, huh?).

So, suggestions for the best software to run on my iMac (hopefully with many updates available online as new germs spread...).

 Thx

you don't really have to worry on a mac

They made us use virex at the NIH.

But as Pollard said Mac viruses are rare. The most prevalent ones mess up Word files. Still I have never heard anyone round these parts actually having any mac virus problems at all.

I dont run anti virus software at all.

Thanks for the input.  I guess I won't worry (I'll  just back up my hard drive).
