Title: DC shout-outs from Ted Leo
Post by: Random Citizen on March 14, 2007, 09:44:00 am
He hearts the Black Cat (http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/feature/41161/Guest_List_Guest_List_Ted_Leo_and_the_Pharmacists)

I have to agree. When I was back in the DC area last month for a couple of days, it was good to spend time at the Black Cat.

Partyline are awesome. They did a Rock 'n Romp back in 2005. (Photo credit: me)

I have to say that "One More Time" would be in whatever sort of top list.

This song might be my #1 guilty pleasure in music.

I love love love Partyline.  I remember seeing Ted at that show, hanging out at the merch table with them.   It just doesn't get much more fun than them.

I wonder if the record store in State College was Arboria?  The last time I was there I think they had recently closed.   I didn't even realize they had reopened from many years ago.  It was a vinyl goldmine back in the day.

Does anybody else think that Ted Leo sounds like a leprauchan? Drink lots of green beer and turn up the Ted on Saturday.
