Saw an ad in the City Paper (Baltimore edition) for an April or May show (can't remember). Nothing listed on tickets.com. Anyone else hear anything? Kosmo...?
-
according to the Wolfmother website they play the club on 4/25
-
might be early May since they have a date in Boston and Cincinnati in late April/May.
-
Wolfmother's myspace page has April 25th listed.
-
Great! Last night before Coachella!
Party at sweetcell's before the show.
DJ Charlie Nakatestes will be DJing...
-
That last weekend in April is smokin'
-
Actually the party is Darth Ed's house and ggw will be djing... I hear he makes little children cry!
-

I'm in THERE! Missed 'em at Virgin Festival . . . . due to punk ass traffic, and the false pretense of my so-called "VIP Parking Pass". First new group in a while that doesn't suck, in my opinion . . . .
(I'm really trying to dig Arcade Fire, but it ain't gripping me yet. I'll give one more listen to both albums b4 I deliver a verdict.)
-
on sale tomorrow at 10 am!

so, how fast is this show going to sell out tomorrow?
it won't be an *instant* sell out, everyone should have a chance to order if they're online at 10 AM - but will it last at least a day? I'm wondering if i'm safe to wait until tomorrow evening and buy tickets at the club (avoid those nasty tickets.com fees...)
thoughts?

There's a party at my house every night. ;)
Saw them at the Black Cat on 6/6/6 and enjoyed them very much. Listened to their album like crazy last year, but I'm not particularly feeling the need to see them again right now, so I might pass on this. I'll have to think about it.

I also went to the 6/6/6 show and after i smoked a cigarette with the bassist out behind the club and Andrew came out and signed my poster, ticket stub, and sticker then he took my poster onto the tour bus and got Myles the drummer to sign it. SO awesome.
I saw them at the Virgin Festival too and i saw them at the meet and greet, they all walked pass me but i already met them so didnt feel the nede to wait forever in line for an autograph, but i love them live and som of my friends wanna go so im going again. 3 times in a year!

so who bought their tix online this morning? lol

i still havent, i think i might in a minute.
Why do i procrastinate on buying tickets?
-
I'll never pass up an opportunity to see them. I thought for sure it would be a year before we saw them again, though. Have they already finished their album?
-
all i heard from Andrew was "Writing is sometimes hard and writing is sometimes easy"
That's about all i've heard from the new Wolfmother record. They've been on the road for like...2 years.
-
I hope this doesn't sell out before tomorrow evening so I can get my ticket at the club. Wolfmother rules.
-
Tickets are now on sale

I'm surprised it hasn't sold out yet.
Then again it took way longer than expected for GB&Q to sell out.
-
...I hope this sells out soon!!
-
keep your hopes up... not sold out yet.

Finally!
Why is that so comforting?

maybe it's because you're looking for validation?
-
it is my understanding that this sold out no later than early monday. i'm not sure when it was announced, but from a friend looking to buy tickets, they were all out by that point.

They went on sale last thursday
sweetcell - i'm insecure.

bah, it's one of the reason rollcall threads are so commmon... people want to know that they are not the only ones enjoying a certain artist. except rhett, of course. he actually prefers it that way :D
-
are you gonna be there?
do you wanna mosh pit with me?
huh? try to touch adnrew's fro?
i did it once before ya kno.
-
any word on an opening act for this show?
-
Hopefully the opening band this time isn't as fucking weird as The Psychic Ills when they were at Black Cat.
Like the Manson family.
-
Does anyone have an extra ticket?

I don't know how the Manson family got in there but I flipping love the Psychic Ills. Guess you don't have that 3rd Psychedelic brain cell needed for stimulation to enjoy them. Unfortunately, I missed their show because I don't like Wolfmother at all and the tickets sold out before I could consider going just for an opening band. Wish I could have seen the Psychic Ills. Heard from someone else that they were great.
