Malmsteen. The man is too busy shredding to use appropriate vowels in his first name. THAT is badass.

I saw Yngwie back in one of my slummier metal moments.

He's no Ratt or Night Ranger...They rocked.

I saw Yngwie open for Alice Cooper.  He was awesome.  Yngwie that is; Cooper was in full gimmick mode.

Yngwie must have been a tough act to book - he's more technical - almost classical - metal.

All the big haired pop metal chix would stand around wishing they were seeing Poison instead.

Should I be proud or ashamed to still have this on cassette?

Is Bob Dylan EVEN ABLE to shred?

A better question would be - who's a better singer?

Dylan was able to overcome that liability.
Sadly, Yngwie was not & has been forever relegated to the cut-out bin...

Interesting question considering how controversial it was when he plugged in.
