Uncle Tupelo
Did you see the interview with Jay in the latest...I think it is Relix? Basically he says one of the main reasons they broke up was that Tweedy hit on his girlfriend (now his wife) and told her he loved her, wanted to be with her, etc. Farrar goes on and on, says it was time to speak out because Jeff has been telling his version of the breakup for so long.
Don't think they'll be getting together anytime soon.

They're way ahead of you. They play the west coast next month.
Orange Juice and Prefab Sprout would be nice.
-
knew they had done the required by law covers album recently did not know they were touring it....
Prefab Sprout did some gigs a few years back in the UK, really wanted to go seeing as they never did any stateside gigs. Paddy was looking very Dan Haggerty for those shows...

Quit monkeying around. Weren't you aware that this was a serious forum? You have just made a large breech of forum etiquette.

Good one.

Some of these suggestions would seem to assume reincarnation, at least for the complete original lineups. If that's part of the deal, put me down for The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Big Brother and the Holding Company. And The Ramones. No Beatles, though, that would be creepy.
