Title: No Cal, show So Cal some love
Post by: vansmack on February 26, 2003, 06:35:00 pm: Venerable (and anyone else familair with No Cal), can you help me out?I'm going to SF tomorrow and I'm looking for a bar to watch the Worthington Cup final between my beloved Man Utd and Liverpool Sunday morning. Being from So Cal, I haven't the foggiest idea of where to go. Do you know of any good soccer bars in SF? I'm staying at The Palace Hotel on New Montgomery and Market.A little internet research has told me the following:Abbey Tavern 4100 Geary Blvd The Dubliner 3838 24th St Johnny Foley's 243 O'Farrell St Ireland's 32 3920 Geary Blvd The Kezar Pub 770 Stanyan St The Mad Dog in the Fog 530 Haight St Martin Mack's 1568 Haight StI've been to Ireland's 32, but that was a while ago. Any suggestions/comments/thoughts?

I have no plans on this trip to stop by as this is my birthday weekend and friends have the intinerary planned for me, but if we hit a lull and are down North Beach way, I'll suggest it.
