Title: NYT charts subpar New Pornos set
Post by: Bags on August 29, 2007, 02:49:00 pm
This is a riot, and very clever, from NY Times online:

 Charting The New Pornographersâ?? Show

At the Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan, The New Pornographers were upstaged by their opening act, Vampire Weekend. Andrew Kuo charts the upset.

See, I rather prefer my New Pornographers to be Bejar-free. As a performer, he comes across as such an asshole. If he never played with the New Pornographers again, I'd be happy.

Now, Neko's presence, on the other hand, is pretty much required for an exceptional New Pornographers set, IMHO.

Agreed BUT, I don't like the new kid singing Neko's songs.

I like Bones of an Idol WITH Neko singing.

I'm glad others are coming to my send of the fence in regard to this band!
