Title: Full album streams
Post by: Charlie Nakatestes, Japanese Golfer on August 30, 2007, 01:24:00 pm
Maybe we could have a thread where people post if they discover a website that streams FULL albums? (not just a couple of songs, but the FULL album!)

I like to listen to the whole album before I make the decision to buy it. Especially when I'm at work and don't have my cd collection close by. I'm sure others do as well?

Here's the (relatively) new Spoon album:

Apollo Audio (http://www.apolloaudio.com/)  has a bunch. Some are kind of obscure. I like Bitter Bitter Weeks, Meg Baird, Electrelane, Benjy Ferree, the Capitol Years, a bunch of others.

I've always loved this site! As with most other free streams, you always have to remember you're getting very compressed sound but you do get more than a full helping of my kind of music. Everyone from The December Sound to The Nova Saints to Mojave 3!

Rhett, good idea for a thread.

Napster (http://free.napster.com) has a pretty good amount of stuff.  More mainstream and limited listens, but still not bad.
