Ohio turnpike 2006, I ate Panera at the turnpike rest stop.  There were flies.  Many flies.  Many, many flies.  There were flies on the paninis within 3 seconds after being placed on the counter in front of the pick up line.  Because I was perched like a king cobra stalking a mouse while waiting at the pick up point, I luckily snatched my panini before any fly had alighted. Though a fly did land on the end of my panina as I was hoovering it down. I pinched off that part and continued.  I couldn't eat my pickle spear because a fly got to it first.  It was a fly feeding frenzy.

Nowdays, whenever I see a Panera I am reminded of flies.

I, too, ate at a Panera on the Ohio Turnpike in 2006. No flies to report.

I saw that one, but as it was breakfast time I skipped it, getting tea elsewhere.

Panera started as St. Louis Bread Company and still goes by that name in St. louis, I havent eaten at one in 13 years probably, but it sucked then.

Enough with all the Panera. There is one right across the street from my school and I hear it's the "hot" spot for after school snacks(Wouldn't know because I always have Football practice or Wrestling or something that is related to the 2). People have tried to make me eat there before, but no sir. To this day I have said no to the Panera and have said yes to the McDonalds right next to my school. I save money and get a big ol' thing of meat. It's a win win situation.

Their corporate philosophy is a lot like Starbucks.  I can tell by the class of clientele they serve.

I'm a fan.  I always get the "u pick 2" with half a sammich and a small soup (usually french onion or clam chowder) with a baguette.

I'm cool with Panera... Even though I was fired for "STEALING OUT OF THE TRASH". It's not a bad place to study. Better than a cofee shop or or college cafe to study because it's more roomey. I also has the right noise/occupation traffic to comfort level to excite your senses but still let you get a study on....
Oh and I have actually never ever bought Panera food for myself. I usually just take advantage of the fact that their drink security level is definately at green which allows me the abilitly consistantly re-cup.

One of the guys I work with is a class A schmoozer.  He has been going to one Panera for coffee in the morning every day.  It is now he gets his coffee free, and often brings in a box or two of their pasteries for free too.  Yum.

The one in Aspen Hill used to have twin sisters working there. I would go there just to look, no make that ogle. They made the Doublemint twins look like a pair of skanks.

Panera coffee sucks the big one, their sandwiches barely average and their bagles hit and miss.
