4:52 PM Lisa Says:
Wow I have never seen how someone could act so low, disgusting and with no class. Sarah was one of my favorite comedians and i was really excited to see her host the MTV awards this year,as I'm a young person and really enjoy the movie awards too. I know Sarah is straight up and that's part of her comedy, but lets be real here. Paris could be the biggest slut in the world but she did NOT deserve this at all,no one does. She is a human too! Come on the girl was sitting there while she is insulting her in the meanest way in national TV, It wasn't even funny to say that they are going to paint the bar cell as penises.???? Is Sarah in drugs?? That's very rude. Did you see Paris face? you could tell she wanted to hide under a rock, she dint know what to do. I felt so bad for that girl,It looked like she wanted to cry so loud..yet she was able to control herself and give a smile. Who is the one with out class now? It just showed who really is a B. If it was me I would had stand up and smack the hell out of Sarah, What a B. I can't believe MTV let her act like this on live TV. Kids are watching this, and she's talking about penise,vagina..ext I have lost all kind of respect for MTV and many more have as well. Search around and you will see how they are many angry people regarding these awards. This wasn't entertainment this was disgusting and uncalled for. Sarah has lost one of her biggest fans. I know she always says rude stuff on her shows but this was the limit.I agree 100% that Paris deserves to go to Jail for breaking the rules, and that's fine..but Sarah comments were not. In my books Sarah has went from a professional fun comedian to a low class, rude, disgusting and wannabe funny comedian.

oh my god. like.
-
Sarah Silverman is my idol. Becaue, you know, Jesus is magic.
-
It was funny and she got her on camera. Nothing better!
-
If Paris Hilton actually got the message last Sunday night, and actually drops out of sight...then Sarah Silverman should be made a saint.
-
I'd like to shag Ms. Hilton.
-
"Defending Paris Hilton"?
isn't that what she has a gaggle of over-paid lawyers for? considering they got her out, i suggest we leave the defending to them...
(although apparently paris is back in court today, prosecution wants an explanation of why she got early home-release. paris is suspected, *gasp*, of getting preferential treatment!)
-
I bet she gives a better BJ than Sarah Silverman. As if Sarah Silverman would give a BJ to anybody for free.
If I were single, which I'm happily not, I'd volunteer to judge the contest.

I guess you didn't see her big screen debut then? Her, ahem, "performance" was totally uninspired and boring. I've seen people more into getting mauled by a tiger...

Good bj....lousy bj. who cares? No such thing as a bad bj in my opinion. Ms. Hilton can give me one any day. Who's this Silverman woman, sounds jewish so she most likely doesn't give head anyway, unless there's a Nordstrom gift card in the deal.
-
if it feels good, do it.
it was also funny on the level of 'why are you here? you're not in movies' so welcome to our world . . . not that SS is in real movies.
the whole show was basically a parade of d-bags . . .none moreso than everyone involved with transformers
-
The most telling thing about that whole Sarah/Paris thing is that there were noticable cheers when Paris going to jail was mentioned. I think there's a majority of the population that's as sick of Ms. Hilton as I am. I'm normally indifferent to C-list nobodies getting pub, but she irks the fuck outta me. To be positive about it, the fact that we even started a thread about this useless twat shows that her publicist is a very skilled man.

not wanting to be naked in public <> homophobia.
paris <> all women.
wow. it's funny how haters, once called out, go to such lengths to paint others as haters. maybe they don't want to be alone.

I guess the key thing is to be the first to call it out. If you're the first to call it out, that exempts you from being one yourself!

True words, fam. You know what they say. Misery loves company. ;)
But seriously. We're talking about a girl (I use that term REAL loosely) who had Q-rating skyrocket because she gave her man a night vision, ahem, mic check. If that's the case, I know some girls who should be the next Greta Garbo or Jennifer Aniston. But I digress. She can't sing, act, and from what I saw on the "tape" she's a dead f**k as well. What is she here for?????

Sarah S. is funny? I find that hard to believe.

Neither do 98% of federal government employees.

misery does love company; that's why we all live part(s) of our life in here, instead of being effective constructs of non-computer productivity. if hated did not exist, most of the name altering, rambling egos that prowl these places to post song lists for national tragedies and how much so and so's musical tastes aren't as elevated as one's own, would simply find the forum a boring, censorfied, network controlled, rolling stone-ish pile of crap.

^^^^^^Co-Post Of The Week! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
LOS ANGELES - Screaming and crying, Paris Hilton was escorted out of a courtroom and back to jail Friday after a judge ruled that she must serve out her entire 45-day sentence behind bars rather than in her Hollywood Hills home.
??It??s not right!? shouted the weeping Hilton, who violated her parole in a reckless driving case. ??Mom!? she called out to her mother in the audience.

I actually think Sarah Silverman is quite funny. She's a sexy, young Jewish woman. She's number 29 on Maxim's Hot 100.
But to be going out with Jimmy Kimmell? You're right. She HAS to be perpetually high.

I don't really see much difference between Sarah Silverman and Paris Hilton from my limited knowledge. Both of limited talent, relatively good looks and snotty full of themself attitudes.

Sarah IMHO is attractive, funny and intelligent. Paris is just Paris. Attractive and filthy rich.
-
Whether or not you think she's funny, at least Sarah Silverman is famous for having a career. That's a pretty clear dividing line.

that image is on the front page - the leading story - of cnn.com.
i admit that i'm slightly interested in this story, i'll give it a few seconds of my attention - but to say that it's the most important thing that happened today?!? i think this might count as the First Seal.
on the way home this afternoon, somebody cut in to my afternoon-drive talk show to announce that paris was going back to jail. he made the rather astute observation that one reason, maybe, that this is news-worthy is because it "proves" that the world isn't as entirely f*cked up as we might think, that every now and then all the money in the world doesn't put you above the law.
maybe.

P.S. And as Stephen Colbert said: "Only the Germans could come up with a word like that."

My local Giant checkout lady has one as well. A fine 27 year career.
Her "career" is being a comedian, by making fun of people. Not like she's curing cancer or anything.

Hey, I wouldn't disagree with you, although I am a fan of hers. I'm just saying it's a little easier, IMO, to wish ill on someone born with a silver spoon in their mouth who are constantly acting like they're above normal social rules and bounds. As a normal joe, it's nice, for once, to see a celebrity get what they deserve and not have money or power get them out of it.
And even you can't argue that it's more noble to work for what you have than be handed everything from birth. Or can you?

I really haven't followed the story or her life enough to form an opinion. The only thing I've seen her in was that porn video that someone posted a link to here one time.
I guess I have other things on my brain that I'm contemplating. It just seems odd that people would take such glee from someone else's misfortune. Sure, maybe she has a bad attitude, but what horrible crimes has she committed? Did she kill someone while she was driving drunk, like Vince Neil did? Did she beat her spouse/partner, like James Brown did? Did she call someone a "nigger" like Elvis Costello did?

Well, yes, she apparently did:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,249625,00.html (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,249625,00.html)
And I don't want to be an apologist for Mr. Costello (the only time he ever made the cover of Rolling Stone was to essentially apologize for the outburst) but the circumstances of that incident are often overlooked. I'm not saying there are circumstances where the use of that word is acceptable but as I've read it, it was a very drunken exchange of extremely crude insults between EC and the Attractions and Stephen Stills band. Sort of like "Your mama" wars. Once again, I'm not saying "It wasn't a big deal that Elvis Costello said that" but it was a drunken error in judgment, in my opinion, and not the true colors of closet racist.

No, but she could have. There are plenty of people being giving the same sentence for the terms she violated. I realize you are discussing why people dislike her so much...I digress.
I like Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel. I did not however like the two minutes I watched of the MTV movie awards. (Horrible television and Sarah was a horrible host. I'm a bit surprised she took the job.) So, I blame MTV for the crude jokes. I do think it was a bit over the line to make such a joke to a person ready to head off to jail - whoever they may be.
Anyway, I've never really cared about Paris, but the whole debacle is irritating at this point, so I can't help but form an opinion.
Daily news now includes updates about Paris and Anna Nicole..yipee.

I find it less offensive then MTV parading around Snoop Dogg at an awards show when he was hiding out from the police on murder charges.

Isn't there a difference between calling yourself a "nigger" (as the always trustworthy Fox News reports she did) and calling Ray Charles a "nigger"?
