it's the same film makers is it really so surprising?  the question is should they have gotten the bands permission?  i wouldn't really have thought so...........

I don't think so...  But maybe it comes down to who actually owns the music video?  They aren't really stealing if they are re-creating their on work.  Weird situation.  I don't even think Ben was in the video...
