wow, me, gandhi, sent out a goodbye message to Josh and all you can say is "whens the Used playing"! B.S. If your going to post or respond to my topic, you all might want to congratulate That guy insted of discussing nissan pavillion or whatever. I guess I'm new to the forum and I don't quite know how it works, but I still remain loyal to sending proper messages. Look out next week when I'll send out a recepie for banana brownies.

The "Congratulations/Goodbye Josh" thread came and went a few weeks back...I didn't see you chiming in then.....so what's your damage?

And here's your recipe, although I'm not sure Gandhi would approve of Brownies:
Ingredients: 1/2 cup margarine, melted
2 cups chocolate chips
1-1/2 cups Hodgson Mill 50/50 flour
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup banana
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup Egg Beaters 99% egg substitute
Directions: Melt margarine and chocolate chips in a 3 qt. saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Beat in remaining ingredients with a wooden spoon until thoroughly blended. Spread evenly in a 13x9-inch pan (grease bottom only). Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely.

Not out of style at all....
So when are the Used playing DC? :D

Gandhi, as has been pointed out several times, there was a long thread in which everyone already gave their congratulations, well wishes and best (or worst) road advice to Josh. Folks didn't feel the need to do so again when you happened to find out/decide now's the time for you to send your congrats. You should probably chill some...no worries, man, we all hope thatguy has a great time, makes some big bucks and comes back loaded down with tales he can share.
No one criticized you for saying congrats, you started in on "everyone" else for not joining you.

thanks Bag, see you at the warehouse :)

my reasoning for the question - he would be in town so you could see him and not miss him so much
-
Dang, I was really hoping for a thread about the hit movie "Heathers." You know, as in "What's your damage, Heather?"
That's a classic. I love that film. I love Winona in it. She's so very.
-
heheh. I thought that too. Well, minus the "Heathers" part.

i don't know, it is subtle...but there's some good non-sequitur interplay going on. don't underestimate.

After I was through looking at the pictures, I read an article that was comparing Lindsay Lohan's performance in Mean Girls to Winona's breakout performance in Heathers. Apparently Lohan, like Ryder, manages to look striking without coming off as an empty vessel.
Stew on that for a little while.

You all might want to be nice to Mr. Gandhi...if you're a 9:30 goer, it's better to have him on your good side....
I think he's less cranky now that he's had a nice big steak. ;)
But aren't cows sacred in India?!?

so... the funny thing here is... S.T. Silk and Ghandi don't even realize it, but, they actually know each other. As a matter of fact, S.T. Silk has been to Ghandi's house a couple times. Ghandi's roomates hang out with Silk all the time. ...so there's your annonimity.

maybe the forum does need avatars, a special handshake, or just a place to post mug shots...

Why? Is he/she gonna kick you out of the club for no reason? Oh wait, from what I've read from whiny newbies, they already do. ;)
-
So Gandhi works at the club? I tend not to know those folks. I know who Josh is, but never said hi (not sure he's in to meeting everyone on the board). And I did finally meet Shadrach at the Cure show, but mostly because I knew he'd bartended at the December forum gathering and knew a whole bunch of folks. I have no idea who Eddie is...

Kinda gathered that from his/her post. Other than that I know nothing and plead the 5th.

Mr. Gandhi might want to be nice to some of the regular posters if he's be a 9:30 Board Goer..you never know when some newbie or Brit is going to come in here and make fun of his musical tastes and talk trash. Things can get pretty crazy in here too with all the words and letters and stuff. Some people even use capitalization and punctuation. I'm telling you, it's better to be on our good side.
-
I like your way of thinking, Smackie! ;)
