<cue the inevitable quips about this person needing to lose a few pounds anyways, so why not kill two birds...>

there is a twisted poetic justice in the fact that america's moronic obsession with reality television might help solve its obesity crisis. out with the old, in with the new!  let's keep this trend going!

I'm in.  The kid's terrible.  He's not even Bollywood quality.  The Indian population in America is doing themselves a bigtime disservice by supporting him every week to be their representative.

I'm waiting until the story breaks that the folks in India have hacked the system and are supporting him from abroad in massive numbers.

I don't watch this crap, but I was under the impression there's a huge counter-culture voting movement to vote the worst person and that's how this (supposedly) awful person stays on. Right?

Then we need better organization from the counter-cultute: at least keep the hot chick that can't sing and not the guy that looks like a chick and can't sing....

Well, now we're in my area of expertise. I agree, they should keep softcore porn girl on over Punjabi Thunder or whoever this kid is, but still it's a TV show: it's not worth a hungerstrike, even in jest.
