So...I just moved to town and in need of some help. Where are there some music stores that sell used cds? And are there any decent music public radio stations? Your help is already appreciated. Thanks...

CD Exchange in Tenley and Adams Morgan
89.3 FM if you like blues, jazz or caribbean music... and that's it for radio in this town.

WAMU 88.5 for bluegrass and old time jazz.

That's only on the weekends (Saturday evening/Sunday), 88.5 is the DC-area NPR affiliate.

CD Cellar in Clarendon and Falls Church is your best bet for used CDs.

But do they have $1 cd's like cd game exchange?
and which of those two locations is better?

Thanks everyone. It looks like for the most part I'll have to keep listening to radio via the net.

CD Cellars have large $1.99 sections, and I think the quality is better than CD/Game.
The Falls Church location is bigger and probably less picked-over, although the Clarendon location is probably a lot more convenient for most people.

As the rest of us do, and now you know why.
